couple of reasons.
1) in the trade forums when you see your post 5 min latter its 4/5 pages back. and that keeps going back. so to go to 30 or what so ever in an instant won't help because the content will change every few min.
2) there is a search function that you can use. to find a post / item you want. so when you want to find something in the Future just remember topic name or poster.
