I can already see shit like someone making a thread asking for opinions about something and closing it as soon as he gets an answer he doesn't like. It just seems ripe for abuse. Maybe if it were only possible in the trading forums it could work.

But for me, who usually use the OSRS forums. It's a couple of hours before something slides off the forums

There is no need for it.
All it would do is be a means for users to flood the top 50 using the
Fact that they closed another of their posts as reason they have 20 topics in
The top 50.

In most forums the threads fall off quickly enough.
This has been suggested, and denied.
