Facebook is a perfect example of the "live" modern sites I'm talking about, they have ads now but aren't very noticable.

I wouldn't mind if this site had ads like Facebook, but I'm not suggesting d2jsp to implement this at all.

Sorry, but if this site becomes like sites such as facebook, twitter, myspace, and such other sites, I would actually stop using d2jsp.

I like how this site is and it can do everything you are suggesting.

This site hasn't had any real updates for the "now" times were living in. If you want to appeal to more people, mainly the younger generations (they out populate us always and never stop) the owner needs to make some what might be major changes to the coding, but minor changes in the reality of this newer age that only grows younger.

I find myself very counter-productive coming here for one simple fact, needing to refresh the page for PMs or updates in my created threads.

Everything needs to be anti-refresh. The only time people in the new age refresh is when the page just doesn't load.

Other than that, web pages need to self-update information that changes at an instant, we need to be alerted by an optional noise and/or alert messages much simular to Facebook.

Drop what ever rinky-dink 90s style chat box that is.

Clans aren't what they use to be, not without a live lobby. Bring communitys back together, the newer younger populations, have everything coodernate in an instant orderly fasion create and keep this one of the most wanted custimized forum out there.. -- this site is sufficating, please give a breath of fresh air.

d2jsp has proven its usefulness even when people thought the auction house would kill it.

I couldn't ask for a better place to manage and make cross trades between games/realms/servers. It helps bring games together and so much more.

Don't stop growing, please.

you've been here 3 months and complaining about the site? how many multis u got? you act like you've been here since it came out.

i mean if u like ads and getting your computer hacked sure we can be just like facebook. pretty sure this is just a basic site to hang out and trade. not trying to be like other sites.

Unlike you, I do my research.

This isn't a complaint, this is a suggestion with facts.

Grow the fuck up.

D2jsp appears how njaguar wants it to appear. If you think the forum is dull and boring then why return here.

Don't change JSP.

Sometimes I feel like this is one of the few bastions of the old internet left. A place were you're still actually anonymous, and the site isn't trying jizz fancy graphics and ads, bukake style, all over your face (c.f. the new hulu main page - maybe great on a tablet but useless on a traditional interface).

Paul has said in the past (on a mobile app suggestion thread) that he only wishes to make the site as fast and functional as possible, which includes keeping things simplistic.
I really don't foresee anything along the lines of Facebook or Twitter being featured here, as those features would contradict Paul's goal.

I like d2jsp over any other forum out there, personally, and don't wish for any drastic changes; The site is just fine the way it is.

d2jsp is one of few websites I enjoy due to its simplicity.

Websites like facebook and junk have tons of ads and other annoying junk that just get in the way of efficient use.

Jsp is one of the most user friendly sites I've ever used along with its efficiency.

There are very very very few other sites without ads that you can compare to the size of d2jsp which is completely ad free.

It has no comparison or equal.

I agree entirely, especially with the bold. :)
