No. its fine as it is. only those who has something to hide needs it. and if you need something to hide, use PM function.

This is something I don't think is needed. If you post it, it's public. If there's anything you don't really want people to read, then you should not post it.

This would be the only 'plus' about this idea - an attempt at repelling spammers. But then there wouldn't be any use for Moderators on here.

It's a no from me. I understand why you would like your privacy, but this is a public site after all. Thus, I would recommend to only post things that you don't mind other users reading.
As far as the concern about users stalking another user and reporting all of their posts, it's been stated many times in the past that this type of behavior isn't tolerated and it's considered abuse.

Personally, I think that this was a great site addition as it made most users more conscientious of what they post around the board.



As long as it's not something against the site rules
