It comes with issues really.

First off many users here on d2jsp need every single fg they got.

Putting it into this system will make them withdraw everything,

Let me give a example of how your system will give a hastle.

User A
Has 500 fg and wants X item.

User B
Has 1000 fg and has X item for 500fg.

User A does not not want to trade because scared of scam
User B uses "Deposited" on XXX fg.

Trade Occurs

User B got 1000fg and 500Fg in Deposit.

But now what if User B wants to trade his 1500 fg for something else now?

He can not because it is "deposited" and now must wait on this time frame.
But by the time the frame is gone, the item he was looking at is gone. :[

If you want a safe trade "Request Mediator" is right there on the topic.

B can deposit anytime at his free will. Never at other's demand.

Voted no, like some people said already, if you don't trust the other user or want to be 100% safe, use a mediator.

Never had any issues with anyone for small trades like 10 fg, people usualy don't mind going first. And to my knowledge for popular games like diablo 2 and diablo 3 the mediator queue isn't that long during the day.

So if people demand you to go first in this 10fg case, you'll request a mediator? :)

User A did not feel safe trading with B.

So B Deposited 500fg so A will feel safe.

But now he is on a timer and wanted item that costs 1500 fg but must wait for timer to go away before B can withdraw.

By the time the timer goes away the item is already sold to someone else.

Actually yes, I have requeted a mediator on smaller trades on buying another user item.

It could also happen when you request mediator on small trades the other people don't want to wait and trade with someone else :)

Could imagine a case similar as you said, I want to buy a 50fg item that I always wanted... and when I told him I wanna use a mediator he lost his patience and sold to somebody else

Did a lot of trade recently due to diablo 3 and I went first for over half of the trades, did request a mediator once and had an answer in about 15 minutes. For the other trades I took ss for safety purpose but the trades went perfectly.

It's yours to ask for a mediator or not depending on who you are trading with and how you trust them. But the actual system seems fine and I still think your suggestion is not something that we really needs on jsp.

Can not help people who are impatient.

Both do happen to have their up and down.

But I rather have my fg ready to use instead of a lockdown that I cannot use it.

Well, if you usually went first and survived all the trades, congratulations and I think this indeed won't have be helpful to you, but it won't do you any bad either.

But people that posted here http://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=250

probably won't think so
