indeed, most sites do it just because they don't want 10 year inactive accounts. Someone may decide not to join if the name they want is not available.
I agree we can't just go changing peoples names all over the place. that would not be fair.
But like in my case.. the guy isn't coming back. He hasn't logged on in
10 years. I don't think it so much to ask someone to log in at least once every couple of years.
I would glady pay the fees for his name change as well.
which more forum gold being used = more forum gold being bought. It's beneficial to more than just people like myself.
