If you get suspended for something (other than hitting the word filter), you get a PM.. so you already know..
If you get suspended for the word filter, or something like that, you should know what it was.. I'd say 99% of the time, people know exactly what they said.

If you want to avoid getting suspended for the word filter, just don't say any bad words

simple typos can lead to suspensions via word filter
like the simplest (1 letter) alteration of njaguar

itd be helpful to be educated on the word filters, no need to beat around the bush

im a big yes on this bob

If you already know this, then stay away from that too :)
All I'm saying is it's generally KNOWN what is right and what is wrong.. it's the users' choices to use the words that gets them punished

i feel ya, but not everyone proofreads their pms. some ppl are dyslexic, and some ppl just dont care (as long as they get the jist of their content across)

so its not really about being conscious of word filters at that point.

I'd like to see how I acted in the past and the way I changed, this log helps me with that, so yes from me :)

xinfinite

we learn from our mistakes right? irl we have our memory, or others recollections
jsp should strive to emulate those same sentiments given they do so for warns, whats the big deal about suspensions

It's not just bad words that are in the filter - and those emails you speak of, which are received after a suspension are crap tbh. They do not detail like a warn log does - and in alot of cases, the "link" provided does not have any sort of abuse or illegal action in them, therfore leaving a big question mark as to why one has been suspended.

I'm not saying change HOW you are suspended, just create a log for it!

Yes I agree, and it's generally known whats warnable and what isn't. We still get a log for warnings with a reason why and a link to offending post, why can't another log be created for suspensions, which being dished out in a more severe way than warnings - so make a log about it! People get suspended for the same mistakes all the time - give them a log so they can learn.

Don't forget, ignorance counts for alot of the suspensions on the site - lets contribute towards educating the ignorant
