exactly! why post an iso if your not actually trying to get the item....

Agreed, and for the people that do post isos just to try and get people to waste their money (retracing multiple, or even one for that matter, isos) they could simply have their access removed, given warns, etc. And they'll be weeded out so the people that want to use the system as intended actually can.

yes u may be iso the item but doesnt mean you wont change your mind and iso something else so i say no

lol? if you give your fg to the mediator after the trade has been initialized (you both agree) then there is no turning back....
if you see sum1 iso a xbox and run to the store to buy it b4 talking to the guy then you should lose money for being an idiot

Kevin is already busy enough, what you're asking will only complicate things and put more on his plate.

It's already been said, there are plenty of items that are non refundable. Even with the fg being held as a down payment, it wouldn't be compensation for an expensive item that suddenly a user is left with because the other user didn't want it anymore. Sure you can weed out problem users eventually, you still leave the sellers with an item they don't need or want. If you want to discuss why further, pm kevin. I can tell you now that this will not happen. The rule is in place to protect both the sellers and the buyers.

and you misunderstood me sir, the total ammount of the trade would be given to the mediator, if the item is refundable then there would be a % given to the player selling, if its not then it would be the full ammount, its bm to back out of a trade so if sum1 were to do that they deserve it.

also, it would just open up more room for lower mediators to get promoted and would therefor allow members to earn there trusted tags ;)

this is a great idea and i have a valid answer for everyone that thinks this is a bad idea :P

should be added. it would elevate activity in that forum for people that arent interested in the same old crap that gets traded there night and day :)
if the goal is to not get any more activity in that subforum then dont add it.. but having more people actually responsible for it could still outweigh the increased volume

I see the potential for success with this if you don't want to do this than don't participate simple as that but hating is bad. Going out of ones way to find some negative WHAT IF THIS HAPPENS Scenarios to just try to show the bad side in something is a Fail everything can be exploited and turned to be used for bad. To be honest all that time and energy couldve been put to a Positive What if scenario.
