Voted yes, just because facebook uses a nice feature, doesn't mean its wrong to implement it

Yes, but it won't happen; I don't think I've ever seen a suggestion which denies the mods of a unnecessary or unfair privilege go through because, after all, it's not like they're going to deny themselves of things if they can get away with it - and, of course, they can. In fact, suggestions are rarely ever accepted full stop around here.

Now, I personally hate Facebook, but if I was able to exchange messages at a much faster rate with friends, I'd certainly use the site more. As such, I don't; I use instant messaging programs. It's simply ridiculous to have one system for the mod team and a slower, poorer system for everyone else. It's indefensible and is, in fact, rather disgusting.
