voted no, only because i find it unnecessary
your join date already shows how long you've been here, anniversary stars are just extra 'weight' for a lack of better terms

i like the idea of it. another website i use (well, neopets), they give you free special site perks for having been a member for so long, and something like that implemented here would be nice.
note that you have to have been an active member for that long (not just an idle account that was created and then hardly or never used), and not locked or whatever.
