No from me.  A user can be locked for numerous reasons and imo its just not necessary.

Users can even request being locked for a period of time due to account security issues

A user won't be locked for it, just suspended.

I totally agree. Being locked is a very sensitive issue for the person that is locked. You would not want others to invade your privacy in any way as well. :)

I fail to see how a person being locked and/or accused in S/A isn't already available to the public.

I would not mind people being able to see why I was locked.
For example, let's say that hypothetically I buy FG via paypal and the order messes up, causing me to be locked.
I would prefer people to be able to click and see that I am locked for issues about payment and I am not locked because I have necessarily scammed anybody.

Voted no, your issues is to yourself, not for the world to see.

Not true, the issues are all available in S/A forum (with the exception of things like payment issues), and anybody can go in and read those.

Precisely my point! When people see a "Locked" tag, they assume the person has scammed somebody.
If we implemented such a feature, people could simply click on where it says "Locked" and see that it is attributed to "Security Issues", "Payment Issues", etc.

Most of the posts in this thread are saying that issues involving Locked users are private, but that is not true as the S/A forum is available for everyone to view and people are accused and evidence posted in there all the time. Perhaps it is correct that it should not tell a user is Locked for "Payment Issues", but it could simply say if it was a general site issue or if it was due to a Scammer Accusation.

There is no need for that. Its there to tell you to be cautious, not give you complete details as to why.

As tcl said, its the same concept as warn logs.

I understand *why* it is there; My suggestion is that we change *why* it is there.
If I was not suggesting something be changed, it would not really be a Site Suggestion.
Saying that "There is no need for that" is an opinion.

There isn't a need. If somebody is locked there is a reason why they shouldn't be using fg.

The fact that they are locked prevents fg trading, so there is no need to wonder if they are safe to trade with.

Dan and Tobi stated it pretty well, it's between the user and the moderator/staff, confidential for others.

Also, I don't see a reason why traders should have an ability to see in what S/A thread he was accused in, since the user is locked, you will most likely not trade with him.

Always Request a Mediator if you are going to trade.
