The problem with events is that it is not as fast as a forum. would be nice to know what is fresh and what is old, just buy hitting reload. So i think Your idea would work, and would cut off some fat from the forums [events].





Hay I'm not knocking Njaguar. I have gotten some of my best items from this forum [zbug coh, eth v1818 260 65ed 121 ar exile, 408ed ebot zerk, 372ed eth death zerk]. But even a diamond has some flaws, and the events just seem to be that 1 imperfection.

i think we should be able to post our service in the trade threads IF we provide a link to the event. this way, ppl will know that a grush will be happening NOW instead of a few hours/days in the future.

also, i think there should be a mass auto PM system that is on a timer for the event. it should not be up to the ppl joining the event to check the box of when they want to get a pm reminder that it is happening.
there should be a set timer on the event (kinda like the hourly raffle) that is limited to like 1 hour or less. this way, when ppl join the event, it will pm them with a custom message that the event host sets.
for example,

To: Everyone in the Event
Subject: Grush
Message: The Event "(title of event)" is starting!
join game Example1///1

the message could be changed by the event host as well as the subject. one of the worst things about starting a grush is trying to pm everyone that wants a spot and get them into a game. this will cut down the time that it takes to pm everyone and be much more efficient.

another idea that could get annoying but would be helpful to the host of the event, is if when the event started, everyone who joined the event, when the event starts, it brings them to a page that reminds them that they signed up for a service and they need to click "I'll be right there!" or "I will not be attending". just like when u get suspended for 15 minutes. u cant go anywhere else until uve waited ur time. but instead, all u need to do is click either of those buttons and it will inform the host that u have backed out of the service, or u r still planning on coming and u havent afk'd.

Events is a good idea but is not efficient for my needs.
About 90% of the time I cannot find what I need, when I need it in events.
I liked things much better when trusteds hosted events in the trade forums (this also was one of the "perks" of having the trusted tag and a way for them to make some extra fg).

Will never happen sorry.
