Yes, with the criteria given, and the examples given, I think Paul should give some serious thought to this idea.

I'd rather pay more to get a name change, than let it sit there.

This would also get rid of unneeded memory stored on this site.

those accounts would get a random name like

gdxsgszhkjjhgssdsu


then when they type it in with there password (in email)

they will be prompt 2 change there name.

mmm yeah ive heard about that. Perhaps they can qualify too. But you have to be careful about which ones you have qualify....especially ones with posts.

I'm not particularly optimistic either...however I believe mine is the best thought out attempt to actually do this. I'm not sure many other attempts were as well thought out.
It may not be the "final" version of the system that could actually be implemented, but i believe its a great foundation. Thanks for the input though!

the reason i posted is, i had onc been told by Kevin (not saying he'll do anymore)

is i wanted that account and he told me 2 check it onc e amonth cuz it may get "Cleared" because sometimes accounts are removed

that's interesting info. I think this system would be alot better though...so that people can take the accounts and not be oblivious to their removal.

Those user's still may come back one day, even if it's 5 years from now it is their account and no one else's. Just because you are raged you could not get a name doesn't mean you can delete others accounts to get your way.

You realize that there is like a 0% chance those accounts were created to actually use later on right? (in a legal fashion)
