1. Makes following a conversation difficult / impossible.
2. Will be abused by scammers or whatnot.
3. Will encourage spam.
4. Will encourage disgusting / vile / pornographic / illegal content.
5. This has already been suggested and denied by Paul himself.
6. Would be difficult to implement site-wide to my knowledge.
7. Will cause arguments and make deals difficult.
8. Will make bidding impossible as you won't be able to see bids from certain users.
