Please don't post if you honestly have no idea what you are saying. If you've used other websites you would see that most of them have this already to cut down on unwanted rage/spam/other bs. Anyway link me to the other requests please because I want to see what a mod/Njaguar had to say about it.

Voted yes, I can think of several times it would've helped. Flame wars would pretty much be a thing of the past.

Simply look back through the closed threads, they show up all the time.

I have no problem with differing opinions. What was stupid was your technical assertion when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Sounds to me like you've heard the "huge strain on the servers" reply a bit too often and decided you could just use it without any knowledge of how things actually work.
