sometimes mods over-do their job to threads , and sometimes they never do it

No good would come out of this. This would only promote people creating threads to insult mods. There are way too many young people on this site that would overreact to their threads being closed, even if it's their own fault. Voting no.

this, and earlier today my thread was closed due to same violations.. but my topic didn't have either of the violations listed and the mediator who closed the thread messaged me and told me it was a mistake and reopened it.
just post in general forums for help idk

All ik is mods are always right. Mods = right

False. Mods are human and even they make mistakes. Some of them do not want to admit this tho, but that is a different story.

everyone voting no has good reasons, and seems to be posting. If you vote, it would help if you posted why. Even if its already been stated.

I guess I'll start by saying I voted yes to keep mods accountable. If the person who's thread you closed has a problem with your judgement, it makes it easier for them to contact you and let you know.
Its a personal vendetta of mine that people should be more accountable for their actions, but perhaps jsp is not ready for this amount of accountability. The replies made here have given me something to ponder, and I will be back with a new idea soon enough. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a request button where you can request a pm from the mod stating the reason they closed your thread. Where if the mod wishes not to reply they dont have to, and this button should only be allowed to be pressed once...but I'll have to fine-tune the details.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I like it when jsp puts their heads together and does some collective thinking. We all have our own talents and it bleeds through most of the time. If only some of the 12 year olds on here had waited a few years before finding out about this site... :/

Mods are human too. 99% of the time they close spam/flame topics, I think some mistakes time by time are acceptable..

As you see a mod re-opened your thread, so don't make a tragedy about that, just take it easy :)

it used to be that way, it was changed for a reason and will not be changed back.
