Well the person that uses it (Ex-Jake@jsp) obviously scammed, etc and had a bad reputation.
Therefore, if you remade Jake@Jsp, that reputation would continue over to yourself. If the old Jake@jsp was able to re-create the name, he could easily say that he is somebody else that just wanted the new name (as you are in your case).
Kind of hard to bypass.
