for your theory to work, SA mods would have to completely give up their real life and better yet not even sleep to finish this job in 72 hours? Look how many users are being scammed daily, there is no way all new topics can be reviewed in 72 hours.
SA helpers put the information together, the mods, to decide have to still go through every detail of each accusation. i'm sure they are doing a hell of a job to help.
i suggest, users start using mediators for their trades, that would have saved you from even opening this topic. JSP offers mediators, why dont we all just use them

Again, I think my point is being missed.
Let me put it in caps.
GET MORE PEOPLE TO REVIEW THE ACCUSATIONS.
Know what the does? It put's less load on the shoulders of everyone.
As for using mediators, my response to that is above.
I think it would be quite interesting to actually see what a Mod does to review a accusation to see how far off I actually have it pictured in my head.
Just so you don't think I'm some random talking out my ass, I will share with you my history on dealing with stuff like this.
I was a Admin for a counter-strike league by the name of CEVO (I'm sure some of you are aware of it). Reviewing cases about cheaters is a daily process. Now let me shed some light on what happens. We are required to watch both halves IN FULL of the match. Each half can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes, depending the match. Yes, you can speed up the replay a bit, but it still takes a good hour to review everything and then another 15-20 minutes to do a write-up on it for the senior admins. That is putting it at an hour per case, and that's if you are fast.
Looking through the S/A section here.. it's quite simple to make the judgement. Does the evidence show guilt? If so, slap the tag on 'em. If there isn't enough evidence, close the thread and move to the next one.
With that said, I go back to my previous statement. I'd like to see what a Mod actually does to review each case, and why it takes several weeks or more to review something which appears so simple.
