You're taking it too far.
Porn is different from early bumping, though early bumping and spam is still annoying. Too complicated considering person A. got a warn because he fucked up once and person B. was stupid enough to do it on purpose.

Well then if nothing else, give the mods access to restrict the gold privilege based on what the warn is for then?



I don't see how its too far, I used porn as an example of a purposeful warn, the idea is about warn percentage...

Id normally agree on a case-by-case basis but as Trispec said, it confuses users who receive warn

I think 20% is a good starting point, once to realize you broke the rules, then after that the gold restrictions kick in
people who legitimately wish to follow the rules might straighten out after 10% imo

Truth. I could understand certain things getting a 20% warn such as porn, it is a pretty sad offense but after they screw up once and learn that they're actually be persecuted there's no need to punish them if they'll start obeying the rules.

I null'd only because I have no opinion on the warn system in general.
My idea is, get warned\punished for not followings rules, or just follow the rules and avoid all that.
So I don't really think about it much.

I'm always for stricter punishments, but if fg limitations are the way to go.

The current warn system is completely dumb, there is no point to even care up to the 50% point.
Before that it is like


10% - You will lose posting privileges in the Love Line.

"Ok i can't post somewhere worthless"

30% - Your user blog rights and your ability to post youtube links are removed. You also may lose posting privileges in some specific forums.

"Ok paul got rid of Guild Chat so now i have nowhere useful to post youtube links anyways"

50% - Your signature, avatar, profile, orb, photo gallery, and guild rights are removed.


Now 50% "Oh no i payed good fg for that! I'm gonna have to stop spamming so i can get it back!"



70% "FML i want to spend my fg"





As you can see, there is no real punishment until you hit 50%.




Yes i realize i have 20%.
10% is for spamming a spam thread (i am the only one that got 10%)

the other 10% is for posting

IMO: make warn worth while, and paul, put GC back the way it was. (Worth something, you know able to communicate with friends and guild members all in one) AKA WORTH USING.

At this point i can spam and spam since there is no GC to chat in, and the IM feature is nearly worthless due to not being able to communicate with multiple people in the same chat. (friends)
