I voted No because Warn's can be from things completely irrelevant to the discussion or topic.
Example.. I got 10% for posting someone's picture.. and 10% for making a joke topic in baseball forum..
It has nothing to do with Guild Wars, and doesn't effect how I use the Guild Wars forum at all.
On a side note.. maybe they should put a block if you are not know in the game. That would filter out mostly everyone.
I vote for a section that only allows Me, Wretch, LaFua, AirJohnny, Fear_Everlasting, and Overdoses to post.

I report the vast majority of spam that I see, but I rarely see the person warned, suspended, or the topic being closed.


This was my point in my first post in the thread. The tl;dr version is that warns don't always mean that the person is a spammer.

It wont stop the morons from posting in the wrong section still, and it wont stop us from "kindly" pointing them to the correct section, EVERYDAY OF THE DAMN WEEK. No this idea is stupid and signifys profileing of certain sections, if it is not a forum wide restriction then thats the same thing as saying only white people can post in this thread here, and in this one over here only black people, so on and so forth. How about you just add a disclaimer thing to the general section, warning them that its not the trading section and to make sure they posting in the right area when they hit the new thread button.

No, you want a useless Guildwars chat that just gets spammed by idiots not reading stickies on guild wars and then not getting a response or they try to trade in the general Guild wars chat, then by all means implement this stupid idea.

You want someone to actually help and tell them to post in the right subsection, or to get some help, along with keeping the section active, then leave it how it is.

Why doesn't a mod take 5 minutes out of their time (specifically the time used spent thinking about this idea) every day or 2, to close posts or warn people? If any of you played Guild wars besides Ic3, you wouldn't think of this idea. Don't take your lazyness out on us.

You can't just single out people with warn and say they can't post in certain sections. Not every person with warn was warned for spamming. The key is to suspend the spammers or implement a strategy for ALL users to cut down on spamming.
