No, you are still able to do services without a trusted tag, you can respond to peoples requests, being able to offer services on this site is a priveledge, so let those that earn that priveledge have that right and no one else.

What I don't understand is why it should matter whether of not someone offers Ubers without a tag in light of the fact that according to the rules, Ubers are carried out "at your own risk"
Thus, even if you have a perfectly legal Uber ISO, the user who posts in your thread could just as easily scam as if he were hosting his own thread.

That being said, I understand the reasoning behind not having "in between tags, however, if Ubers are at your own risk, the rationale behind having restrictions on Uber threads at all seems called into question (at least in the context of this thread)

Perhaps I'm missing something important
Anyone care to explain what I've overlooked?



To play devil's advocate - Do you know how many users ask about hosting Ubers? I've seen quite a lot. All of these users are informed that in order to offer their service, they need a trusted tag. As a result, there are numerous users on a quest for the trusted tag who are motivated solely by the means to acquiring the ability to host services. And imo, that's not what the trusted tag is about.

Vouch, I dont see the logic in that.

There is no logic in not being able to post your own thread, when you can reply to others the exact same stuff. Imo just more work for the Servicer.

Heres how i see it:
A guy wants to get a trusted tag to offer a service, so he filters out to Level/rushes for easy Post reports. He goes to services made by people without Trusted tags and reports them. Over the course of one year the guy can finally post his own because he got a trusted tag. I dont see why we must step on each other for several months?

Your keeping us away from a win-win situation.

People say you can scam? So what? Those that do will scam 7 players for 25 fg each. Thats only minor fg stolen, but the fact of the matter is that there will be 7 threads in the Scammer Accusation forum, which will be insta-locked.

You shouldn't vote no because you *THINK* njagaur will not do the change, you should vote depending if you think this feature will be beneficial.

Update: If you go to US EAST LADDER, and for educational purposes, try to report a service "i.e. Guber, Grush". Someone has probably already reported it within 20 seconds. You tell me if this is more work for the mod to deal with this every minute of the day.
