I do not think this is needed.
If you want to be a S/A helper. Prove to them that you want to help.

I completely disagree, there a quite a few truly deserving, mature and qualified people that should be mods that never will be because they are not at the right place at the right time in front of the right people. Attempts to help out are often ridiculed by others that just accuse you of wanting to get a trusted tag.

Or have an application process to do it.

The way people are chosen to receive trusted tags are fine, the reason being there are never any issues with it. There could always be more people to help in Scammer Accusation, but it's up to the people that would like to help to be the kind of user and set the kind of example that the Staff wants to see in people that would receive that spot on the team.

trusted tags. im talking about people that have training in that area and can help. i know some people that would be perfect to do this and have the trust of the membership at large as well. when you have that combination in a person and they are not in a position to get noticed for a tag, this would open up a door for them while helping jsp as well.

No, I asked it several times, pmed people, they don't even answer.
I help in g/h and d2 forums, and they pm people that don't do a shit to help in there.

i will use myself as an example but please know that when i use my name, i am talking about a group of people. i do have a lot of experience with s/a but dont feel i am allowed to help without an invitation. i have helped many people put together their s/a's and they have mainly been successful. i know of at least 2 others that are in the same position i am in.

Sounds like this is the solution right here guys. If you truly want to make the scammer section better, spend your time helping out and you may earn a tag. Is that what you're saying, JayKwik.

You should never PM anyone. The staff are watching very closely, they don't need any assistance in making their decisions on who they should approach and for what reason.

Just remember, you're one person. What you see doesn't always account for what a certain user may be doing. Just because you see someone else get a Trusted Tag or get onto the S/A list doesn't mean they don't deserve it, solely because in your eyes they aren't deserving and aren't worthy. I helped on that list for 10 months, and I know the kind of activity and attitude it takes for the staff to consider you to become a part of the team and help the site.

If you deserve it, you deserve it. If you don't, you don't.
