voted no on this specific one.

I think more along the lines of if you get a warn for spam, you have a 5 minute post delay between each post until that warn is removed.

is a good idea, but we could have much better, and much less work for the mod team.

this is simply the same as a 30 minute suspension imo... no point in that.


but a 30 minute suspension RARELY happens when deserved like for example the other day somebody had 15 topics in the top 50 and he got away with a slap on the hand even after psoting 6 more after the mod verbal warned him... i think this would be a much better solution

so your saying its justice for members to have 15 posts in the top 50 after a mod warned them and yet still be able to post as mucch as he wants... the mod i pmed about the topic said it wasnt extreme enough for a suspension and i agree it didnt desevre 10% warn but it does deserve some kind of punishment...

No you need to pm a Trade Moderator with all of the topics that the user you see spamming, and be patient for the Trade Moderator to take action,.

if thats the case then why the report buttons if we're gna have to pm a mod anywaiz

The report post feature is for more common violations that can be reported any time and are dealt with by the moderating team of that forum, every little violation does not need to be pm'd. When you see a more serious violation it can be pm'd (something like Jangalang said, if a user is continuously spamming the forums in multiple topics..)

the average time for the report button has got to be at least an hour though id just like to see a cleaner trade forum :\
