If you're going to bother 'vouching' someone, even for a +1/spam, you should be prepared to be held to the same standards as the item seller himself/herself if something goes wrong with the trade, including replacing lost funds due to scam/"item poofing"/etc.

If all it amounts to from a moderation point of view is spam, and people don't appear to be getting warned enough to stop this type of spam, why not implement a "trader feedback" system to eliminate the need for the "vouch spam." Other trading forums have done it, for diablo 2 as well as other games, so it's not impossible. And it wouldn't have to replace the Trusted tag, either.

No you're just some random that is pissed because he can't get any vouches himself when people ask for them. I only vouch people i know very well or if i know the item.

And vouches do mean shit if you know who they are coming from.
