Which is why you have to pay for it, will keep those people with those large numbers out because most of them are multis trying to act like girls and adding everyone. And + I'm pretty sure Paul gets enough donations that he could set up 1 more server for this.

/e: Do you honestly think they talk to all of those 1,000 people? And what do you think having 1000 friends would have to do with this?

you should have to pay like 20 fg per friend that you want to chat with or something. or have a feature where you can add friends to your chat friends list but you have to pay per slot

This has nothing to do with other messengers. This is basically a web based messenger. For those who don't want to download one to use, they can use one build into jsp. Wont slow the site load time any.

Somehow I doubt that -_- and how does this have nothing to do with other messengers? In my opinion it has everything to do with them. Why create something which does the exact same thing as many other programs that are completely free? The only people who this would help are those who are too lazy to go get IRC or something like that.

I vote no. There are other external programs which do exactly this, we don't need something built into d2jsp to make it run slower. Just go get AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, IRC, TeamSpeak, Vent, or a plethora of other programs.

And by the way, this idea is suggested at least once a month and it's always denied for the same reasons.

this... incase you havent noticed... when myspace added theirs.. it GREATLY slows down the initial loading of the page... imagine that wish d2jsp

new server for that alone won't change much.. itll still take a while to load the page as it is
