no for three reasons:

1. because most scamming resourceful multis just call their service providers & change ip addresses
2. because for the people that use proxies for legitimate reasons, wouldn't be able to post
3. because i don't like the cult known as Zeitgeist

it is impossible to make a list of proxys ( even known ones ), there are like xxxxxxx new ones everyday

Good idea, I just recommended redirecting to a read only version.
This way school and work can still read if they don't have a private proxy / unbanned from the list.

Hell, even the trolling multi's can read.. just not contribute their usual diatribe of porn and other offensive material that an anonymous coward typically posts.
