That rule seems really stupid to me, how often are your friends actually going look at your blogs? Not very often

True, and yes spam is too be prevented, but people go on here to also talk to there friends, and i saw a few people who quit after this rule came over UB, because they can't talk to there friends in UB anymore, i get that they could just add them but meeting new friends is also nice.

This. The new rule helps to reduce spam. People will be mad about it, but imho it is what needed to be done. UB have been out of control for way too long. Many of the posts there should be posted in gc imo as well..

But not all. Just have a mod for UB.

Imho, a mod could just watch it, warning as needed and moving topics as needed.

Mods are not lifeless robots that sit in front of a computer refreshing a single sub-forum non-stop trying to catch the newest "illegal/spam" threads. The user blogs was out of control and most of the non-sense needed to stop, thus the new rule came into place. Making a forceful stop to spam/flame and topics of the sort. People are not going to be happy..... get over it. It's just one part of a large forum.

How about just erase UB all together now, since there isn't enough people posting to keep it alive. it's been destroy'd since this new rule was implemented and is now a pointless sub-forum.

Retard, GZ, :hello: ,

yes it is sooooo bad to get rid of 20k+ of these a day. Post count at one point could have been a reliable source of trust, but with userblogs wonderful intrusion, This was erased, it was to a point where any person in a matter of a week could get like 10k posts, and mods couldnt keep up, there was too much spam and flaming. If you really want to blog, go to a blogging site. you can still chat with people, do it in Pms, or get invited to their guildchat or stuff like that, hell even get msn or yahoo. User blogs was a hinderance on this site and i for one feel as though it is better, granted general chat will now become the new spam place. :( when will it end :(

I went in there to try and have an intelligent conversation, and I got flamed.

You don't see GC getting a rule to ban 85% of the posts.
