What are you trying to say with your pasted text? Cause you did not answer the question in the first or 7th post

I agree that the entire thing just generally sucks, hard to prove, hard to convict, it just sticks. But, closing on sight and not even giving people the opportunity to present their case properly would (imo) lead to warped views from past users, current users and users to come.

If I joined tomorrow, for example, and wasn't an honest person, I would see all these topics of people claiming that they were sold unperms as perm getting closed with the attitude of "Cant prove it, too bad, bye." and I can see how many people would think "Well if nothing is gonna happen, I may aswell do it too!".

I'm not saying that this doesn't happen now, but I could see it making it worse.

The thing is I don't see any possible way of proving that an item poofed, yet all those SA helpers let the post screen shots, links etc. when in the end the whole thing's gonna get closed anyways after like 8 pages of bumps.
Trading has always been "at your own risk" and it should stay that way imo. This is why, if you are a new user, I would not trade with you. I'd rather spend some more and get the item I need from a person that I know and trust
