your problem is not a bug.

You can not track a thread by itself without a forum because the topic tracker is designed to organize threads by their proper forum.
If you were to just track topics without any type of forum to them, you wouldnt know where they were, for the people that trade in both the nl and lad forums.

Threads are auto archived now because in the past, when paul would manually do it, jsp would be down for 4-8 hours at a time.

So your problem will never be "fixed" as you call.

And with your attitude, its a shock anyone has even posted in your thread.

Fix this please.
I can have things on there, that say they are good for another 2 weeks, then they poof.
Thefuck?

MY guess, is that they are inactive threads, and are pushed into the archives, but I still wanna track them.

if you need the topic to not be lost that badly, C/p the link into a notebook like all the smart people on jsp

You have no idea what your talking about.
All Im asking is that, when a thread is xfered into archives, that it still be tracked.
It is still available to be looked at, it is still a thread.

You cannot track threads once they are archived (because they can no longer receive replies).

If you need to keep track of archived topics, bookmark them.
