No. This is a very bad idea, because most mods tend to ignore such pms.

Also maybe I know a little more then you do about the way information is handled by mods...
And that information will obviously not be shared with you.

And yes, I have personally dealt with locked users reporting to me anything from trade violations to multis, and a lot of them have been unlocked afterwards because they were indeed helping out.

So if they want to show they are helping out, using the report button wouldn't help them anyways.

Aight, hook me up with those information. If not, don't be so mystical - just because you have a "Retired Moderator" tag it doesn't mean you're something special.

Why not? If you report a post it says "Thanks for making this site a better place for everyone" and IIRC users with a tag can get unlocked if they help making this site a better place for you and me.

no, they should have though about reporting things before they stooped to the level of a child and got locked in the first place.

Not all locked users have good intentions...
Lots of them will post just about anything in the forums out of frustration and carelessness...

Locked users who want to help may pm a moderator to report violations.
Trust me, it doesn't go unnoticed.
Do it in an intelligent way, gather some links and send them all together, not one link per pm...

I voted no because I don't think they should have access to anything other than posting rights, as much as their warn level allows them.

But there are also a lot of crafty people who did not get scammer tag, and many people who get locked just make a new account and they can report.

So it really doesn't make a difference if locked/scammer accounts can't report. But whatever, I still voted no anyway.
