dad was actually trolling the DF earlier, go figure.

DoomOnYou you know the system is based on friendship, there's no big secret there.

Anyway I'm back to trolling, just wanted to mention that dad is still alive and well.

wow... havent seen him in a while

in any case you can compare the trusted tag to getting a promotion at work... the people that deserve them, get them. also, the people that dont really deserve them, but know how to network also get them

actually there is theres a med trusted and moderator trusteds r not meds or mods 3 different levels of trusted already u being a mediator should have know this please stop trying to discredit what this man is saying he is very educated at least it looks so and has made several very good points he didnt say fo afk for several months to get a tag he said stay active and be a good memeber show u r trust worth he didnt say trusted or mod tag he is asking mor paul to make a slight change in the order of things and it doesnt seem too hard to do it would prolly boost jsp and its rep alot alot of people dont have the time to be on here 24/7 to get a tag and r still trust worth people.

There are too many things you arent taking into consideration.

1. Accounts are constantly sold, so an 03 account can go into a hand of a scammer, that account would be at 0% therefore it would be a "genuine player" but in fact a scammer has control over it.
2. You can post services in someone elses thread or get a trusted tag to host em to you.
3. There is no way of proving if someone is active

what ur saying is u and doom could be a scammer who is trying to be good for now but could scamm us all good any time u wanted

you mean i could sell my account? no way!!!

while i can understand the concept of his idea, and it seems to be a reasonable request, i just dont see a good way of putting it into place whatsoever.

actually mediators are simply trusted members who decide to mediate trades. And moderators are a different thing altogether. The various moderator ranks are not tags.

And like I said above, nowhere did he say that they had to be active to get this tag that he's suggesting, simply that they had to go without getting a warn for a period of time.

no where above he said he bought his account or is a scammer in disguise or was non active just to have a good join date

Again, bud, please READ and COMPREHEND before replying. You're not reading or comprehending.

ACTIVE accounts would gain karma/trust/whatever over a long (years) period of time. That is accounts that would post occasionally. No scammer is going to spend years making an account to do this other than by automated means of posting, which can be detected unless they're very good. Any system can be broken. Scammers here are out for a quick fg, not a Bernie Madoff 20 year ponzi scheme.

As for selling accounts, what prevents anyone (even trusted) from selling a user/pass to someone and now they're a trusted? An IP verification for trusteds before they can login? An email verification? Well that could be implemented for karma'ed members just as well as mod/trusteds. And it could be broken as well. No system is 100%.

Please READ before you refute with the same tired argument. You're spammin up my post making me explain the same things to you over and over.
