The lottery is controlled, there is no fixing/rigging/cheating/scamming/ifs or buts. Its safe and that makes a big difference, in my eyes at least.

Jeight quote, or not, the raffle should stay.

no there is no definite way to get rid of scammers in the sports betting
however the hourly raffle has no scammer/welchers/late payers

so it takes forum gold out of circulation and then people are happy

Please reread the first post. This has nothing to do with wanting the bettors list to be readded. And FYI - there is a way to stop scamming there and it's fairly obvious. If JSP supported it and used it's mediators to mediate bets, on top of allowing bettors lists, then anybody who welched would be scammer tagged and locked, thereby preventing them from continuing to welch. So, before you attempt to use that as support for your reason against this, learn what you're talking about, especially when it has nothing to do with this topic.

If the staff says gambling is not supported, then the lottery needs to be removed. It doesn't matter if it makes people happy or not.

It either needs to be removed or the rules need to be changed to say only the lotto is allowed.

That doesn't really work either, since that would say that the site supports gambling. They need to take an all or nothing stance on the issue and be done with it.

The logic is simple. This has been suggested since before you were a member. It's been turned down more times than I care to count, and will most likely be turned down again. It's good fun. Besides, if you really want to suggest something that hasn't been suggested a million times, suggest that the rules simply be edited to allow only the lotto. If it was illegal it wouldn't have been added in the first place.

Edit: As far as the "all or nothing stance" comment above.. Are you new or something? Certain aspects of this site aren't fair, and most likely will stay that way. It's alot easier if people like you just play ball and deal with it.

Nobody said that it was illegal. It's also not illegal to bet with fake currency, which is why the act isn't banned outright. No legal action can be brought against the site or NJaguar if the site supported betting either. That logic may have been accepted a week ago, but as of now the site is trying to eliminate betting and gambling. You can't tell people that you don't support gambling and then add it as a site feature and encourage it. That's called hypocritical and contradictory. So, no, that logic is not so simple.

Why should I sit here and deal with this? I don't think it's fair, so I'm trying to be civil about it and change things. Obviously the bettors lists are not going to be allowed again (which is just going to cause more problems by the way), so why would I waste my time asking for those back? I'm sorry if you have a "Sit by and let it be" attitude, but I don't. I prefer to make my feelings very well known.

I ask you again. Are you new or just dense? If you really think this site is as much of the fair place as you make it out to be, you have alot to learn. Still a no from me.

Edit: It's not a "Sit by and let it be" attitude, it's more of a "It won't change, so why bitch about it" attitude. It's really simple when you think about it. It's pointless to argue with someone who isn't just going to remove something that accounts for so much fg circulation. As far as I'm concerned the lotto should be labeled a game, and nothing more. While we're at it, let's suggest that it be placed in the new "Fun & Games!" section of the site so it will no longer be betting.

if the site was trying to eliminate betting and gambling then paul would auto-ban anyone who did
but they aren't they just don't waste the time and effort into "SUPPORTING" it
