Gambling has different ages for different countries so some countries do have a 21 age limit.

Jsp doesn't support betting so this topic will be closed like countless others

The user I was talking to and the site are in the US. Why would anything else matter?

This is still pointless as making a poker forum with the current state of poke just encourages welching...

Yes I understand that, even so Paul lets this go on with no problems, its not like he is kept in the dark.

We are openly betting daily with next to no problems, other than welchers, but as I said we have our own system for that.

its not about having any problems... its a federal law

This is a legal issue - poker betting can not be supported, thus a forum would not be appropriate.

why do the other sports/etc have a forum seperate

imo poker should have it's own forum

if betting not supported then why do we have sub forums for other things?

There is a considerable amount to discuss for most professional sports. Despite professional poker being televised to some extent, there is much less to discuss about it than other sports.

Null'd - I don't mind this but it's incredible how many times it's been posted before, and turned down. Probably time to give up.

I've read all comments like "jsp doesnt support gambling" etc..

Well, a poker sub-forum would not just be about gambling.
It would be a place where people could discuss different strategies, talk about upcoming events like the WPT, EPT, WSOP and others, chatting about their favorite player, post videos of sick showdowns/bluffs, and a place where you could generally keep yourself updated in the world of Poker - much like what you can do in all other sports sub-forums.
In short - there is a lot more to poker than gambling and welching!

I know this probably isn't what the sub-forum would be mainly used for, but hey - that's the case with all the other sports sub-forums as well..

Just posting this to show a different point of view than the boring "gambling isn't supported by jsp".

Edit: I'm not here to make enemies, but Zodijackyl - are you out of your mind?
Less to discuss about poker than other sports?
Whats there to discuss about sports? "Hey, I think xxxx will win tonight" "No they wont, xxxx sucks!!!!!"

A proper sub-forum would, in my opinion, open up for more serious discussions about poker - like the basic strategies, psychology, "tells", how to improve your game and SOOOO ON.
Name me one game/sport there's been written more books about than poker, please. There is a reason for that - there's a LOT to talk about
