it could simply be that I just don't like the idea

however, with this one suppose I were to track 4 topics or w/e the limit is, for ever
then I stopped using jsp
thats information that the servers have to remember forever but won't ever get accessed
since database tables for tracked topics wouldn't be archived they'd always have to be live
so it would be impacting the amount of time it takes for anyone to access their tracked topics page by clogging up the database
as well as storing unnecessary information

and there are at least 2 threads with this suggestion on the first 1-2 pages of this subforum at any given time

not hard just to edit the time
very simple

If you dont use it often, just every month or two, there is no need to have it tracked.
If you do use it then i think, it would be easy to just update it to another 30days, Im sure most things you will memorise in 2-3months which then you will not need to Track.
And if you do want to track it forever -- Favourites.
