We are a group. It doesnt matter who closed the thread.

If anyone have problem with his closed thread, he can pm to _any_ TA and above.

I'm pretty sure most of them would rather leave a thread be, instead of locking it, if their name was shown.

Also, if you think your thread was locked for no reason, you can pm a moderator on that section and ask what is wrong/ask them to unlock it. It doesn't have to be the mod who closed the thread.
I have done that a few times.


If they are honestly worried about backlash from the community whenever it comes to locking a thread then they shouldnt be in the position they are in.

So if you moderate a forum, you're supposed to enjoy whiny private messages? I don't quite follow you.

You haven't stated why you're suggesting this anyway, knowing any moderator can reopen your thread, or tell you why it was closed.

I didnt say anyone had to enjoy it, i did say though that it comes with the job. Why does there need to be a reason behind every suggestion? I think it should be stated who closed your thread along with why.

No reason to know who did it, if you have any questions on WHY your thread got closed just pm who ever is in charge of that section, I.E. if something gets closed in the general chat, pm a J/M, if something gets closed in a trading forum, pm a t/a. This would just cause a lot of people to cry at the person who closed their topic.

Everyone keeps bringing up why. Obviously by my first post that i dont give a shit about knowing why. If a thread is locked and you made the thread, you know why its locked. I personally would like to know WHO.

If you have a question about why your thread is closed, you can PM anyone who moderates the trade forums. If the thread was rightly closed it will be clear to them, and they can explain it to you. If it was a mistake, they can reopen the thread and you can be on your way.

I don't see a reason why you would need this information.
