As much as I am all for stricter punishments. Spam is the same as early bumps at the moment, not a priority. Or so they say.

I think the topic is supposed to be " more warns for rule violators"

german forum hardly gives warns anyway
mods give warns to weak spammers, and no warns to the extreme ones

In regards to any constant ruler violators period, there needs to be more stricter punishments.

I alone can/have reported over 200+ threads, (mostly in trade forums), in an hours time. Mostly this leads to only having a the thread closed.

Sooner or later it is either reposted or a complain thread is made also violating rules, which takes up even more space of the top 50 threads making it even harder for users who do follow the rules to trade because their thread is bumped out of the top 50 in seconds of the post which will probably also lead to the legitimate traders early bumping as they become frustrated that no one looks @ their thread and they see everyone else doing it. Most users are mostly paying attention or adding spam to the already spam created threads. It seems closing just makes the poster become rebellious, causing them to not care at all anymore and just go on a ramped violating spree usually also just resulting in closing of the threads.

I think posting privileges need to start being revoked for a certain amount of time or none the less something more then +10% and a closed thread.

There are so many spammers that I'm sure its even hard for mods to keep up with who has reposted under one hour of closing and who continuous to violate.

In other words Yes. something needs to be done.

I favor stricter enforcement and punishment for early bumps/ reposts, but not for spam. The latter fosters a sense of community, introduces a bit levity into a trade forum, and gives you a sense of who you are dealing with (even if it is mostly overstimulated adolescents), whereas early bumps/ reposts put all other legitimate traders at a disadvantage. I have never seen nor heard of any D2jsp user receiving a warning for early bumps/ reposts whereas spam regulations are enforced against habitual violators. Early bumped/ reposted threads are far more prevalent than spam threads at any given time on any given trade forum, so for this and the other reasons mentioned above, I voted 'no'.
