Obvious yes. No idea why someone would vote against that.

no it obviously shouldnt

put it there and all users could request it for that thread. imo the thread maker should only be able to request (dont see why anyone else would be able to since its not their trade thread) and after the thread closes, the option should still be there.

it should be there for more then 1 reason

anyone who needs to request a medi for anything always spams the forums

with a button there it would save time instead of ''need trusted mule help'' ect ect

its a nice idea i agree but there would be one small problem with it. What if people start requesting when its closed without the other person actually having posted on the thread could look like pm trades.

Another possible problem is people requesting when its closed just to waste meds time?

still though its a nice idea and in some situations could help.

Well, that's one of the downsides of this suggestion, I agree, but if the thread gets closed there is a chance of: the other user hasn't posted + there is no chance to request mediator.
Atleast if this suggestion gets implemented we will easly avoid "there is no chance to request mediator" but then mediators would have to face at the "the other user hasn't posted-problem"

My suggestion also goes for the creator only to request the mediator, not other people.

I had such a problem one time when I was trading expensive item vs 15k fg... my first topic was closed and I have to wait 1h to repost (coz Balakai told me that) to make a trade... during the day its not a problem, but it was 2h after midnight and I almost fell alseep waiting for creating a new topic just to request a medi...

So I Vote Yes biggrin.gif

Benefits:
People don't need to break the rules again, if they need it instantly, to request mediator.
People who hasn't made a violation can still request mediators.

Disadvantages:
Users may get their thread closed before the other user has posted.
