what about awarding good behavior with a bonus, such as a free bump..for example if you go x amount of days with no warns, suspensions, locks, etc. you get a free bump..go another x amount of days, receive something else, such as 3 forum gold or something along those lines.. theres a lot that can be done with this idea, these are just examples. any opinions?

Voted no. You should be following the rules and act respectful regardless. I don't think people should be given incentive to do so. Following the rules and being respectful is a choice a user has to make, and should make without any incentive pushing them either way. They should come to it on their own terms, not because they're going to get FG or a free bump.

I like the idea, But there would need to be more info on the rules/awards.

thanks for the explanation, and i agree completely about respecting rules, but just thought itd be something new to add to the site, make it a little more fun or friendly i suppose.

and is there any reasoning to this? for this not being a hard concept, it seems as though you have not put much thought into your reply, unless, perhaps, you were just trying to be mysterious?

with as much money as this site makes off of people buying forum gold for their entertainment, it seems there should be something for their consumers, other then simply providing the service of this site, which could be just as easily created and run by anyone with little html background.

you must have misunderstood the post, i did not mean that a user gets 3 fg a bump. i meant just small bonuses for good behavior. unless i misunderstood your reply.

also, itd be nice if people would take the full description into consideration, all ive heard is talk of free bumps and forum gold, where are all the ideas and creativity? i said those were examples, not set in stone plans. there could be many different alternatives or things that could be small "rewards" for things other then good behavior as well. for [EXAMPLE] making 50 legit trades of all different players without scamming anyone or even making donations to others and being rewarded for just being a decent user.

but instead of just a button to send forum gold, why not make a button to donate forum gold, as a means to track donations?
