I just feel that during certain situations you should get an early bump for something that you may be looking for/trying to sell right away. Or, if you have to go to work or leave or whatever the circumstance may be but its already been a little bit since you last looked at the post and you'd just like to get it back out there before you leave for the rest of the day so people can make bids or pm you while you're away instead of having to go and bump it 12 hours later and wait for any results that may show up and waste valuable time that you could be using to message back & set up a time to trade/service whoever may be interested in your post, etc.

The problem is, people would abuse what those 'certain situations' would be, and it would be very tedious for moderators, when viewing reported posts, to keep track of early bumps made. Also, by making bumps at shorter intervals, you reduce that critical amount of time when your topic is on the 1st page.

very true man i honestly didnt think about that aspect of it at all..man..this is a bitch lol. i wish people would just be honest you know? but maybe they wouldnt really abuse it because the one time they really do need to make a trade they might be f'd you know? being able to click the bump button early before the time is up is just like a tease like a "take your chances" kinda thing haha. i think they should just make 1 bump button per topic that resets every 4 hours, instead of 1 for each individual user to bump because to me it doesnt make much sense for YOU not to be able to click bump, but have 50 other people do it for you, whats the difference then? (and im not sure if any of this had a shitty tone it wasnt meant to and this isnt directed at anyone or supposed to sound angry im just trying to make suggestions to help everyone out. :))

lmao. i bumped 10 mins early my like 4th day on jsp, not knowing it would actually let me hit the button i figured itd say the time hasnt expired or whatever, but IT LET ME! haah so then my whole post got closed. i dont understand why you are able to if its against the rules when they could simply fix it by
1 bump button per topic vs 1 bump button per user that can be used at will, thats just allowing people to abuse it.

No. Rules are fine now. No need for free early bump since early bump is against the rules.

It would get abused. It also would be confusing, when i can do it and when i cant. General help would be fullof ppl who rage/cry/ask why it golt locked and why suspended etc.

well that is why i suggest it telling you when your next free eearly bump is, say if you clicked it today you wouldnt get another til september 17 or whatever. but a lot of flaws have been brought to my attention with this, even though they wouldnt be flaws if people could just follow rules, making the early bump a little "bonus". what about making it a bonus for good behavior? go x amount of days without a warn, suspension, etc. and hey here ya go you get a free bump? any opinions on that?
