currently we just have the dota 2 forum

joining up with people

keep the dota 2 section for trades only

That's far too much breakdown. Everything you mentioned is just fine in it's own discussion forum because most of that is actual discussion about the game, no need for the concise breakdown, in my opinion. I'll give you character builds however - maybe a Strategy & Guides subforum could possibly be a benefit to the DOTA 2 forum.

if you limit it to only strategy guides
every ones posts will get closed for posting in the wrong section

i consider my self a noob at dota 2
and im mainly looking for place to ask question
talk about builds
place to talk about the game
everyone only trades there in the dota 2 section

but to make another sub forum for that
theres only a 100 diff chars

Rather have a trade sub-forum and have main dota2 as discussion forum. But I get your point, voting yes.
