A deposit system that people can ( at free will) "deposit" a certain amount of fg to jsp to increase their rate of trust when trading in jsp.

For example, if I have deposited 10k, people will view me like this:

Gold: 40,586.00
Trader: Not Rated
...... blah blah
Deposit: 10,000 Forum Gold

And they won't hesitate or suspect much when giving me first on a trade involving only 500fg or so having the knowledge I have 10k deposited in jsp and no reason to scam their 500fg and get locked 10kfg.

If both people have deposited way more gold than the fg involved, they probably can choose anyone to go first and smooth.

Much safer to give 500fg first to a person that has 20kfg deposited than to a random 2006 user just because he made a random acc 6 years ago and joined earlier than you.

If both sides don't have anything / not abundant deposited, the trade will just go as it originally should be.

The deposited gold can be withdrawn, but with a delayed time frame of course. To prevent people from scamming and quickly withdraws anything and run away.

I'd say time frame probably have to be 2days to maybe a week. If any S/A accusation is up against him the withdrawal request will be denied. The Deposited: tag will not show up if withdrawal request

is on process. After the time frame if nothing bad happens, he can take back his gold.

No, not needed. That is what the Trader tags are for.

This, if you're uncertain about a user, then just use a mediator

Are user always happy to use a mediator and wait for 4 hours just for a 20fg trade?

Or a user that do 10fg trades 20 times a day and request 20 times of mediator?

A trusted or Mediator is, of course, still the highest priority of trust in trades, and probably people still need to use a mediator

to do BIG trades. This system is just to help out those people that do small trades very frequently and reduce the burden on the meds.

A person that do 10kfg trades for one a day probably needs a mediator.

A person that do 10fg trades 50 times a day to different people probably would need this more than requesting 50 times of mediator.

No matter how much you've invested it does not make you any "more" trusted.

Just use the request Mediator option.

I never value this more trusted over the mediator option, but do you really think requesting mediator 50 times a day for 10fg trades is practical?

no. this is not needed. and you dont have to ask from me if its worth to request 50 times..

if you want to be sure, that you wont be scammed, use mediators.
join date/fg's/post count means absolutely nothing.
tag only means something, when trading.

Voted no, like some people said already, if you don't trust the other user or want to be 100% safe, use a mediator.



Never had any issues with anyone for small trades like 10 fg, people usualy don't mind going first. And to my knowledge for popular games like diablo 2 and diablo 3 the mediator queue isn't that long during the day.
