About 3 or 4 days ago, I was browsing through the forum and all of a sudden, when I refreshed the page, a message popped up saying I was suspended for 24 hrs. I waited until the end of the 24hrs to see why I got that suspension, but I did not received any pm or anything explaining which specific rule I did not respect. From there, I pm'd a Mod and made a thread in the General Help section (link: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=61683121&f=34) to get more explanations. After several posts, more than one person told me that when you hit the word filter in a pm, you get a 24 hrs suspension but do not receive any notifications about it. Plus, someone told me you get a pm for every infraction you make except this one, which can be confusing for no obvious reason.

So my idea is to simply make it the same as for any infraction you make and receive a pm saying which particular rule you did not respect. I am not looking to have the precise message nor the exact word that hit the filter in the notification since it could lead to the person who reported you (and that is not what we want I guess). Only saying that one of your pm did not respect the filter would be enough and would avoid, in my opinion, lots of confusion.

This being said, I am not sure about the part where you get a pm for every infraction except for the pm filter since only one user told me this. If it turns out there are more than one situation where you dont get the notification, then my poll becomes pretty useless or should be considered as a demand to have the notification no matter what rule you break (might have to repost in that case). Reading the rules or even knowing them by heart doesnt make much a difference since, as I have stated before, most of those rules are just common respect towards other people and therefore, are more than easy to follow for most people. Of course I know I broke a rule, but it is usually your right to know what you are accused for.. You do not go and tell ''criminals'' : well just read every laws and you will understand what you did wrong... Getting a pm to detail which rules you break would just avoid thread like the one I made, and might even free the Mods from some pm's they get from people like me who have no idea why they have been suspended.

The filter isnt about subject, its about word. You can talk of something 100% legit but use a term that isnt legal by accident and get a suspension.

I guess you just pulled out a tl;dr and didnt even read op. It is possible to use a black listed word by accident and without noticing it (pretty much what I did I guess). After that comes the thread where you ask for explanation... but receiving a pm would just avoid that kind of confusion.

Even tho they should, they dont
So if they do something wrong
A automated courtesy pm should be sent out
Just like any other suspension
U can stop doing something wrong
