With recent 'drama' filled guild chats, should Guild Leaders have an option to block certain people from being able to post in a public guild chat? Some people go into guild chats, and do nothing but flame and start arguments, and even after being asked nicely by the guild leaders to not post in the chat again, they continue.


Suggestion: Giving guild leaders the option to block someone from having the ability to post in a guilds public chat.


People can personally block someone from pming them, and guild leaders can delete posts once there are posted in a chat... but instead of having to constantly delete posts from someone who is unwelcome in a guilds chat because they constantly flame others and cause drama, I feel it would be nice if a guild could filter out some of the trash.

i so agree with this. we pay for those pages and love to talk to friends. it really gets frustrating when you ask someone not to post in your guild chat because they bring drama and cause all kinds of trouble when you ask for help and you are told there is nothing you can do because its a "public" chat. well i know of people who have been warned/suspended in the past for this, lol

the guild chats are to be a "self moderatored" forum essentially , that is how they where initially described at least....more control over the "self moderation" abalitys would be a great addition.

in my mind i'd Love this to work like a guild wide communal block list...where you can just add someone and they are unable to post in that guild chat

I agree and think that this would be very beneficial (or also be able to have a private but viewable only to people you grant access to instead of the other way around), but I believe it has been suggested and denied before I'm afraid
