I'm not sure if this idea has been posted already, searched few pages but didnt find anything.

Are you tired of those spammers and trolls that are roaming free in this site?

Heres a solution!

So, the Ignore list would hide all posts from the user you've Ignored.

Heres a little sketch I made using the Paint



Ok, a little explanation is in order.

The Ignore list would be placed in the Settings-section.

Would be pretty much similar to the PM Block system.

Would hide the posts from the Ignored user.

I can honestly say, Im tired of those trolls and spammers. We cant get rid of them from this site.

But we can Ignore them!

Its a personal Ignore list.

So you wont see the Ignored persons messages.

e/ Like you wont get any Pm from a Blocked User.

so this does not refer to posting? am i correct?
its just to stop people from spamming pms?

When a user you have Ignored writes a message anywhere in the forums, you wont see the message, cause you've Ignored the person.

Is this simple enough? ^^

ok so if i was this so called ignored person on your list
and i if i post in your topic
you wont be able to see it, but i still get post count?

too much of a hasle better yet to just mentally ignore him, report user, he/she gets warn
end of story and move on

The Block function only works for PM.

If this Ignore list would come, you wouldnt have to see the messages and posts from those Ignored spammers and trolls.

Yeah, thats right.

I dont care about others post count.

Im just tired of those trolls and spammers in this site.

then those trolls/ spammers would use this as an advantage just so they could get there post count up
doesnt matter if you nor i care
post count is a post count
