Yes I know there is a way to block a user from pming you but this is different.

Actual Idea:
I am not sure if it has been suggested but I think that JSP should have a way to prevent reading posts by any user. By this I mean you should be able to choose if you want to be able to not read anything a certain user posts. This would help cut spam greatly because if you were able to block a user by both PMs and posts people may become more mature and there won't be as much spam in topics and that much trash talk because you would be able to block posts by a user.

For example, user A makes fun of someone through pms because he was angry he didn't get the deal he wanted. After user B blocks his pms he should also be able to block any posts user A has or else user A can spam all of user Bs threads because he was angry at getting pm blocked causing a user spam fest and threads getting locked.

If this is a bit confusing I am sorry. I just feel this is really needed because there are many users who I wish I could block from reading there posts but can't.

Ya, this should be used in the other sections but those two. This is possible because another site that I use allows this so I thought JSP could also benefit from it.

Agreed. Would definitely reduce trolling and bring back some seriousness to subforums not meant for d2.

Yes. The halo series is a perfect example of this. If you were to read some of the posts you would be surprised that nothing has been done to them.

Been suggested and repeatedly denied. You should really read closed suggestions before posting your own, this gets suggested every other day.

You can't just "block" other people from view on JSP, that would be unrealistic and a huge strain on the server.

Welcome to the internet, people insult one another and rage over pointless shit, it's an unavoidable fact of being here... especially at JSP, a place seemingly rife with 13 year old kids...
