Do you think the Events system should be accessed as a sub-forum of each individual trading forum. Like, when you enter Hardcore Trading USEast, you will see a sub-forum link at the top which will bring you to the Events related to Hardcore USEast. Accessing it only by the link in the corner is pretty bad, and most people still don't even know about it because they haven't noticed it's there (between My Guild and Topic Tracker). It simply isn't catching on very well.

When you ask for a rush, you should get a flurry of offers, not wait 5 days with no response.

Yes. As it is, the events system is worthless. When you want a rush or something you want it NOW - not when someone will be around to offer it to you in a few days after they see your post. Similarly, when you have some spare time and can offer a rush or any other help - you want to do it NOW and not whenever someone will bother to sign up. I try not to break the rules with posting help offers in the trading forums but at the same time I see why the events system is completely nonviable as it is and barely anyone bothers with it.

The main point I'm trying to make is that Events is not catching on very well because it's not advertised well, and it's accessed only by clicking the My Events link at the top right corner. Would you build a small business in the middle of no where and hope for customers? No.

Making Events more visible and easier to automatically access Events specific to your own trading forum makes sense. A random link that no one notices/clicks doesn't make sense.

It is most certainly not good as is.
