Requiring all new users (and existing users) to have a minimum IQ of 70 (or at least pass a basic literacy test in their native language) would prevent my eyes from bleeding everytime I view the vile filth that passes for english here.

For new users, part of the registration process would involve taking one of these tests.
For existing users, a mandatory test would take the place of the normal jsp interface the next time a user tries to access the site.
Upon completion of the exam, they would either be redirected back to jsp or banned on the spot.

Feel free to comment.

They should add a wall of text you had to read, then answer some questions that are in the text.

First of all, if you don't like it, theres a log out button. Second of all, It's not a good idea. As Some people aren't as "smart" as you, although i doubt you would pass your own test.

Edit: Also, Seeing has English isn't always everyone's first language, that would apply too. People who's first language isn't English try very hard to talk with English speakers anyway. So Nice try on flaming everyone Foreign.

Join date and stupidity are two entirely different subjects.

Or how about we make a rule that says anyone over 10% warn doesn't get access to the site anymore either? Because if you think about it, a sign of stupidity is not learning from your mistakes, so therefore anyone with a warning after the first one, by that standard, would be considered stupid? So by your standard, that would make them unable to access the site if your "idea" was implemented. That would also make you unable to access it.

Edit: This isn't flaming, it's just showing him how outlandish his suggestion is.

1) That's what the 100% warn mark and banned group are already for.
2) You can get 10% for accidentally posting in the s/a forum. You would remove site access from people who have 6 subforums open at once and make a mistake?

2) you can edit and say i'm sorry and they won't warn you, so i know that that is incorrect. :)
