Spamming has gotten way out of control, and there needs to be something *done* about it.

How about someone getting a Spammer tag when so deserved?

For someone to get the Spammer tag...
1 - they get 10 posts reported as spam in 1 day. (15? 20? more?)
2 - they have had at least 2 warns in past 6 months for spam, or have a current warn for spam
3 - a mod verifies eligibility and sets the flag.

If someone is Spammer-tagged:
1 - "Posts: 10,342" changes to "Posts: Spammer"
2 - thread openers, meds, jr mods and up, m++ can delete their posts. That "thread openers" part is very important and needs to happen!
3 - their post count is cut significantly (say, to to 10%) AND frozen for the duration of the spammer tag.
4 - they cannot post more then 20/day (exempt forums that are MEANT for spamming, if any, and perhaps exempt the s/a and why-lock forums)

They can lose the tag after a process similar to warn removal, but 3 months long (the first time). Repeat offenders get 6 months, then a year... and so on.

Gigan - if spammers get the tag and suddenly can't post much, that cuts it down.
most spam to annoy, to raise post counts, or both. if they cant do much annoying and the count is frozen, yah, it'll help.
