Alright, I'm sure plenty of people want this, for one reason or another!

The purpose of this suggestion is to make certain blogs invisible to the public, while still showing certain blogs of your choice.

So here it is, without deleting the actual post, or messing with anything dramatic. My idea to to make User Blogs more like the Photo Gallery and Friends List in your profile.
Rewthebrave's profile doesn't have very much junk, so I will be using his as an example.
First off:

*Note, it is voluntary now. I didn't think he would PM me back before this was up*


Above is a picture example of how it will look to view someone's profile after this change has occurred.
Also, if he is viewing the profile himself, he will see : Edit Blog Settings




This is a picture of someone viewing Rew's blogs. This is not he viewing the blogs himself.
The changes in the after section are as follows:
1. Text saying: Displaying 5 of 7 blogs that you have access to. I prefer how the
Photo gallery pictures show whether you're viewing all of the pictures or not, so I think that this would be a great feature to bring to the blogs section.
2. You can only see 5 blogs now, rather than 7 because Rew has only selected those 5 to be visible to the public.
3. A big smiley face. :)


Lastly: Here is a picture of Rew viewing his blogs list
Also, you can visit this screen by clicking Edit Blog Settings:



You can now check/uncheck any blogs you would like to be added, just like in your friends list!
Wouldn't that be splendid!? :D :lol:


Well, that's my suggestion. Open to any ideas / criticism.
Please if you vote no, I would appreciate a response as to why you don't like it.

This should not effect site load, and shouldn't be hard to install since it's based off of features we already have. :)

Yes I would love this, I have made retarded blogs and I would definitely make some new/better ones if I could remove or actually hide the ones that don't mean anything anymore :lol:

That's exactly where I stand! :)

I've had a long 3 year career over d2jsp, and I'd like to think I've matured a lot since I came here.
I'd really like the make some of my mindless blogs invisible and have a clean slate. :)

My dodge topics are pretty old and useless but I don't mind their existence :evillol: I'm not really sure how I feel about the suggestion, but being able to delete blogs would be out of the question. Hiding them from view is less problematic at first glance, as long as the idea is that they would remain searchable and of course accessible to moderation. Has this been suggested before? ;)

i don't have blogs, but i know many others would like to hide some of their blogs.

i made one when i started out,
and i kinda wish i didnt so being able to hide/remove would be genius.
