Haven't you all been frustrated already by the numerous early bumps in the trading forum?

It's so common since long, that now half the topics have early bumps, often numerous posts only minutes apart.

Well, here's the solution for this wide-spread problem:

Nothing fancy, and it's not a lot of work! :)

It would still be possible to answer someone. The only thing not possible anymore, is making two back-to-back posts within 4 hours (or whatever early bump rule there is in some other forums).

Then we will have multiple threads of same item. No.

People making multiple threads of the same item should be warned, since they are trying to bypass a new solid rule.

edit2: State WHY, certainly if you vote no.

I agree de_krikke. Although I am a bit of a hypocrite, because I do early bump to stop my thread from being bumped to the next page 15 seconds after I post it. I think this would take quite a bit of the anger out of trying to sell or buy items.

Unfortunately, I imagine this would take quite a bit of coding to add into. Enough to where I do not think Njaguar would want to bother with it.

You have my vote, though.

In theory it's awesome in real life it fails for reasons stated above instead of early bumps there just would be early repost.

The thing is, if reposts would be dealt with more severe (warning for example), it would really help.

Most of the early bumpers quickly type 'Bump' and add their reply. Posting a whole new topic at least takes a bit more time. It's also harder to manage all offers when you have more topics selling the same. This suggestion would help a lot anyway. It cannot stop people from making a new topic, but what is stopping them from doing that now?
